We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Nursery person. As a Nursery person, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining plants in a nursery environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for horticulture and the ability to work well in a team.
Responsibilities:
*Plant and transplant various types of plants in a nursery environment.
*Ensure proper irrigation, fertilization, and pest control of plants.
*Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment.
*Prepare plants for shipment to customers.
*Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their plant-related questions.
Requirements:
*Previous experience working in a nursery environment is preferred.
*Strong knowledge of horticulture and plant care.
*Ability to work well in a team and independently.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
*High school diploma or equivalent.
