Sonographer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to identify medical conditions, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to create images of organs and tissues.
• Use advanced imaging equipment and techniques to identify medical conditions and assist with diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients, based on diagnostic imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and results, and collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure proper documentation and communication of patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in ultrasound technology and related fields, and apply this knowledge to ongoing patient care.
• Follow safety protocols and best practices for ultrasound procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography or a related field.
• Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent national certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sonographer role, with a strong understanding of ultrasound procedures and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a healthcare team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for ultrasound procedures.
