We are currently seeking a few Full Time, Part-time and Casual Roof Tiler in all over Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
The Roof Tiler will be responsible for covering houses and buildings with insulation and sturdy waterproof surfaces to ensure they are weatherproof. The individual will also conduct accurate site measures before erecting scaffolding and cutting and installing roof materials such as insulation, waterproof underlays, sheet metal and protective paint. Additionally, the Roof Tiler will be responsible for attaching plumbing and guttering, as well as identifying any roof defects and carrying out maintenance as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would be an experienced individual with clear and efficient communication skills, as well as possessing the experience required for the role.
Essential Criteria:
*Hold a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Roof Tiling (CPC30820) or equivalent qualification.
*Possess a Construction Induction Card (White Card).
*A current driver’s license.
*Experience in a similar role.
*Completed a Work Safely at Heights short course through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Desirable Criteria:
*Have a Working with Children’s Check.
*Access to your own tools.
*Required licences and accreditation to work as a Plumber in your state or territory.
*Exposure to takes not commonly encountered in their day-to-day work.
