We are seeking a compassionate and skilledĀ Enrolled Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic nursing care to patients, such as administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with personal hygiene and mobility.
- Assist registered nurses and physicians with more complex medical procedures and treatments.
- Observe and document patient conditions, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and emotional support as needed.
- Ensure that patient medical records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean patient care environment.
- Participate in team meetings and in-service training programs, to maintain and update skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Diploma of Nursing or Certificate IV in Nursing, in accordance with state and local regulations.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Enrolled Nurse in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and practices, and ability to provide compassionate patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records.
