As a Boilermaker and Welder, you will play a pivotal role in the fabrication, assembly, and welding of metal structures and components. This dual-role requires proficiency in both boilermaking and welding techniques, ensuring the production of top-notch products. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams to meet project requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Metal Fabrication: Fabricate and assemble metal structures, components, and equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
  2. Welding: Employ a range of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join and repair metal components with precision.
  3. Boilermaking: Specialize in the construction, repair, and maintenance of boilers, pressure vessels, and tanks, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
  4. Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and high-quality work.
  5. Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to verify compliance with quality standards. Address any defects or issues promptly.
  6. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, such as welding machines, grinders, cutting torches, and boilermaking tools.
  7. Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  8. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines, share expertise, and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Boilermaker and Welder, demonstrating proficiency in both boilermaking and welding processes.
  2. Comprehensive knowledge of MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
  3. Solid understanding of metal fabrication and boilermaking processes, including blueprint reading.
  4. Attention to detail, precision in work, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Education: Completion of a relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in both metal fabrication and boiler making.
