As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by assembling various components to create high-quality products. You will work as part of a dynamic team, ensuring that each product meets our quality standards and is delivered to customers on time. Attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work efficiently are key attributes for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assembly of Components:
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and work instructions to assemble products accurately.
    • Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble components according to specifications.
    • Ensure the proper fit, alignment, and functionality of assembled parts.
  2. Quality Control:
    • Conduct thorough inspections of assembled products to identify and address any defects or issues.
    • Follow established quality control processes to maintain high standards of product quality.
    • Report any deviations from specifications or quality issues to the supervisor.
  3. Efficiency and Productivity:
    • Work efficiently to meet daily production targets while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
    • Collaborate with team members to streamline assembly processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Adhere to production schedules and deadlines.
  4. Safety Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to the supervisor.
    • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  5. Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, including quantities produced and any issues encountered.
    • Complete required documentation such as inspection reports and production logs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in assembly or a related manufacturing role is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy objects.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and repetitive motions.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
